Front of the engine right behind the radiator.
in the dipstick tube at the front of the engine, just behind the radiator.
The transmission dipstick is located on the front of the transmission and is accessible from underneath the car. It is green in color and held in by a retaining bolt.
I really don't know!
For an automatic, the dipstick is only accessible from under the car. So, you have to jack the car up, or put it on a lift, then you should see a green plastic dipstick on the top of the transmission. It's seen from on the right side of the vehicle. What a poor design.
There is none. Transmission pan must be removed to drain fluid.
Saab wants you to use ATF +4 fluid.
Dexron III
There is no transmission filter on the Saab 9-5 Automatic. It is recommended to do 3 separate fluid changes at about 1 week intervals to change out most of the old fluid with new.
It's hard to find and needs to be accessed from from under the engine compartment: Open your hood, look to the right of the yellow oil dipstick exactly 1 foot, deep under the radiator and other hoses is the green trans fluid dipstick. It is held in place by a 12mm bold. It is quite easy to access and check once the car is lifted.
Just use ATF automatic or MTF manual tranny fluid
It is near the radiator just off center to the driver's side (LHD), it's black and latches down. Ans 2 - . The dipstick is at the front of the transmission just in front of the cooling fan on the radiator.
