The Corvette is a rear-wheel drive vehicle and, therefore, has the transmission attached to the rear of the engine, rather than to one side as is the case with front-wheel drive vehicles.
The Corvette transmission, like all RWD transmissions, is attached at the bell housing, a somewhat large circular device that tapers back to a box containing the gears. This, in turn, is attached to the drive shaft that, in turn, is attached to the rear differential which has an axle on each side attached to the left and right rear wheels.
It doesn't have a dipstick for the automatic transmission.
there is no way to check the tranny fluid in a automatic 2000 Vette..GM didnt put a dip stick on this tranny..

You can check the transmission fluid level in your 1998 Chevrolet Corvette with the transmission fluid dipstick. The transmission fluid dipstick will have indicating marks as to the level of the transmission fluid.
The flasher unit on a 2000 Corvette is built into the emergency flasher unit in the console.
