I believe it is on the passenger side of the transmission ( A4LD ) behind a
heat shield
On a 1992 Ford Explorer ( A4LD automatic transmission ) I believe the modulator valve is on the passenger side of the transmission , BEHIND a heat shield
I believe that is on the passenger side of the A4LD transmission behind a heat shield
In the transmission in front of the modulator
Vacum line is off of the modulator. The modulator is located behind a plate on the passenger side of the tranny near the rear Cat. If there is fluid in the line, then you will most likely need to replace the modulator.
That year model did not have a modulator valve on the transmission.
There is a modulator on some transmissions. If yours has a vacuum line going to the trans, it connects to the modulator and you simply remove the bolt holding it and pull it out.
The 1992 Ford Explorer uses an A4LD automatic transmission
its under the air filter box and below the exhoust manifold
A 1992 Oldsmobile may not shift out of park because the transmission is stuck. Check to transmission fluid to ensure it is at the proper level.
I'm not a mechanic/technician but the 1995 Explorer transmission is a 4R55E (electronically controlled) transmission and the 1992 Explorer is an A4LD transmission so I don't think so .
