Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 1994 Pontiac grand am?
The flasher relay is mounted on the bcm (body control module) just directly behind the fuse box at the left of the dash board. It is difficult to access, but by removing the bottom panel and releasing the big wire harness you can unclip it and replace it. there is one for the emergency flashers ane one for directional flashers, just turn on your signals to determine which one ie which. I believe the far left is the turn signal.
Your 2001 Pontiac Grand-Am is making a clicking like the turn signal is on while you're driving but the signal is not flashing or on whats the problem?
I just had this problem with my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am. The problem is a short in the "multi-function switch." When I took it to get fixed, they told me that a lot of Pontiac Grand Ams have had this problem, and mine was fixed through warranty. If that is not the problem with your car, check the "signal flasher relay." Hope I helped!

Also, a burned out bulb will not give enough electrical resistance to the circuit, and result in a very slow or stopped flash. Since your flasher is most likely mechanical, turn on your hazzards and put your fingers over the flasher unit. If you feel it click on & off, then you need to find the turn signal flasher…
