For a 1999 Ford Ranger , in the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment : Relay # 1 is the ( wiper park relay ) Relay # 3 is the ( wiper Hi / Lo relay )
I'm guessing no. I'm thinking the relay was located within the wiper motor for the 93 Rangers. Other model years may be different.
The 1998 Avensis wiper motor relay is located in the exterior fuse box. The exterior fuse box is located underneath the hood.
where is the wiper controll module situated on ford galaxy
The wiper motor relay is in the box, built on the wiper motor.
There is no relay for this wiper motor. A PCB on the motor handles speed and intermitment changes.
It controls the power to your wiper motor.
According to the owners manual the # 16 fuse is a 30 amp fuse for the windshield wiper motor , wiper Hi / Lo relay , and wiper run / park relay In the power distribution box in your engine compartment ( Ford states to disconnect your battery before servicing anything in the PD BOX - which means your Ranger will have to relearn its idle , the radio clock and stations will have to be reprogrammed etc ) relay # 1 is the wiper park relay , and relay # 3 is the wiper Hi / Lo relay
On the firewall to the left of the wiper motor
Inside the wiper motor.
the relay is part of the wiper motor assembly. if the fuses are good, and there is voltage at the motor, then you must replace the motor
