Remove your air cleaner assembly, and the TPS is mounted on the throttle body, on the left if looking from the front of the truck, it will have an electrical plug on it, and I believe it has 3 screws holding it on.
that would be located on the throttle body and have a small 3-4 wire connector plugged into it. it has 2 screws (usually torx head) holding it on.
It is on the throttle boby, opposite the cables.
The TPS is located 180 degrees from your linkages on your throttlebody.
the tps or throttle position sensor is located directly to the throttle plate opposite of throttle cable's on the throttle body.
It is on the throttle body, on the opposite side of where the cables hook on.
It bolts to the side of the throttle body opposite of where the throttle cables attach.
It is called a APPS accelerator pedal position sensor. It is located on the front of the engine. It is the part that the throttle cables hook to.
the code P0123 means, Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit High Input. sounds like a wiring problem to me. I had the same problem with a 99 Toyota tocoma when i replaced it i had to reset the CPU. On a dodge you should be able to disconnect both batteries for 15 mins to 1 hour and it mite reset.
If you know it is bad, just unbolt the hold down and pull it out.
It is located on the rear passenger side of the motor below and behind the exhaust manifold. It is easier to get to by removing the passenger side wheel and inner fender trim.

Try the throttle position sensor
Look for a black plastic sensor attached to the throttle body. Expect it to be black in color and directly opposite the throttle cam (where the throttle cable attaches.)
On the throttle body.
The tps (throttle position sensor) is not adjustable.
The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body.
