The switch is in the cargo compartment , on the drivers side , behind the
plastic panel where your tire jack and rear window washer fluid reservoir is
( on a 1995 Ford Explorer Limited )
If it has air suspension there will be a shut off switch for the air suspension The switch is located behind ( 2 ) access panels that are in the cargo area , on the driver's side , by the liftgate
if equipt with air ride, have it checked by a mechanic. otherwise, a bad spring or torsion bar.
Yes,I had the air suspension taken off and replaced with coil springs. I have a 98' Eddie Bauer, the dealership did after I got fed up with the air suspension. Good luck!
Never hear of this... Other than a name... Unless you mean Eddie Bauer. Eddie Bauer begins partnership with Ford to produce Eddie Bauer Edition Ford vehicles. The first Eddie Bauer Edition Ford rolls off the assembly line in 1984.
In the right front passenger footwell - by or behind the kick panel along with the fuel pump inertia ( shut off ) switch
Need to know what the problems are.
Behind the glove box
Where is air ride leveling switch on 1996 Lincoln town car
Yes
The difference between 98 expeditions and the Eddie Bauer edition are a few things for example Digital Thermostat, rear vent windows, air suspension, exec...
look at rear end axle, if it has leaf springs or plain coil springs then no. if it has rubber airbag lift system instead of leaf -coil spring then yes
I have the same truck with the same problem. Rear end dropped twice before I finnally wised up & called Strut Masters & replaced the Air Ride with the regular shocks & coil ride. $500 & I don't have that headache any more. Oh by the way I spent about $1200 before I replaced the air ride because I thought it was a neat thing to have on my truck. GET RID OF THAT AIR RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Darryl of Baltimore
