A lien has to be filed with the courts. So your best bet would be to go to the records department of the court.
You need to contact the lender and request that a duplicate release be sent to you.
I called Ford Credit at (972)-281-0500 and in about 2 minutes was told they would mail a duplicate title in 24-48 hours.

You contact Transamerica at their offices. They will be able to provide a copy of the release letter.

Call the DMV in NJ and aske to buy a copy of a duplicate title and have it mailed to your current address. In my state it would cost you six bucks plus postage and take about 5 days.
If you own the car, (there's no lien on it or any other debts), then yo can go to your local DMV and fill out an "application for duplicate title", or other similar application.
A duplicate is a copy. So if you make a duplicate, you copy the original, whether you do it by hand, on a computer, or on a photocopy machine.
To find the lien holder of a vehicle, the registered owner of the vehicle will have to apply for a duplicate title. The VIN will be necessary to obtain the duplicate title. The lien holder will be listed on the duplicate title.
If the lien affects your land you must obtain a new original copy of the release and record it in the land records. You may be charged a fee for the replacement and there will be a fee for the recording.
