By design and specifications, OBD II connections are SUPPOSED to be installed underneath the dash area on the driver's side inside the car...like in the vicinity of the panel or panels under your steering column. If manufacturers choose to installe the OBD II computer connection anywhere else, they are SUPPOSED to put a label under the dash (in the vicinity of the steering column) specifying WHERE they put the connection instead.
So look in the driver's area underneath the dash, for either a computer connector (which may be covered by a plastic or rubber cover to help keep dirt out), OR a label in that area pointing you to where it really is.
OBDII became the norm with the 1996 year cars in USA. Before that was OBDI which did NOT have a standardized mandated location for the connector.
In my 96 900s its under the steering wheel; our models are basically identical so if it isn't there, i have no idea.
Hello Its under the driver seat look for a letterbox cut out in the carpet trim flap it down you will see the the scaner plug in unit
The diagnostic connector is under the hood. It is located along the engine wiring harness.
