Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Where it connects to the engine you will find the thermostat.
Look where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. There you will find the thermostat.
If you don't have the manual (which will have the code in the section for the stereo) call the Delaership with the car's VIN and they can look up the safe code
You can find the thermostat on a 1995 Lexus GS300 near the radiator. To locate it, remove the upper hose assembly where it hooks to the radiator.
If this is a 2.8 V6 the thermostat is located on the front of the engine. Ask 'Where is the thermostat located on a 1995 Audi A6?' on this site and you'll find someone has done a great job of explaining how to find and replace the thermostat.
If you know where the intake manifold is, you will find the thermostat housing under it after taking the manifold off. You could also follow the upper radiator hose to your thermostat housing.
Drain the radiator into a container. Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. there you will find the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and the thermostat. Clean the surfaces and install the new thermostat and hose. top off the radiator.jd

Since the 1995 only had one engine size, you will find access to the thermostat under the car behind the passenger side wheel well. Follow your long lower hose to the passenger side and then up :-)
The temperature sending unit on the 1995 Escort is on top of the engine. It is mounted at the thermostat housing, where the top radiator hose comes in.
