Contaray to public belief, communism technicaly doesn't exist. By definition, communism is the final stage of socialism where government seizes to exist. Many countries in Africa have no government, but this isn't communsim because that isn't n-government by design it is by civil war or war. But China, Vietnam, Cuba, and Korea claim to be communist but they are really Socialist.
I haven't "found" it anywhere, but I understand that it is the main form of government in the People's Republic of China, North Korea, Viet Nam and Cuba.

It was first founded in Russia

Americans showed the fear of communism thorough the McCarthy trials. The trials tried many innocent people for fear they supported communism. Students practiced duck and cover drills in case of raids.
True communism isn't practiced by a major power anywhere in the world today. Instead, the politico-economic system currently practiced by China (and which used to be employed by the Soviet Union) is called socialism.A very simplified explanation of the difference is that socialism is set up and controlled by a central government, whereas communism is controlled and maintained at the local (people) level. The only practical example of true communism can be found in the system known (appropriately enough) as a commune, similar to the kibbutz farming communities found in Israel.
Forms of communism include Marxism, Marxist-Leninism, Stalinism, Maoism, and Trotskyism. Stalinism is still practiced in North Korea, Vietnam practices a form of Marxist-Leninism, and the Shining Path guerrillas of Peru still practice Maoism.
"The type of communism practiced under Stalin did not benefit the people." "China turned to communism as an alternative to internal power struggles." "As a form of society, communism does not allow an individual to reap the fruits of his own labor."
Communism. The world's most referred to example of communism was in the former USSR, known today as Russia. The USSR actually practiced Stalinism, not communism, arguably the reason why that system eventually failed. Cuba and China practice communism quite successfully. Capitalists often refer to poor human rights adherence in China and Cuba, without recognising that their own capitalist nations regularly ignore or subvert human rights as they see fit.
The Soviet style of communism focused on urban workers, while the Chinese style focused on rural peasants.

Anti-Communism is the opposite of communism.
Practiced is a verb.
1. The right to vote (1770s when the US first allowed it) 2. Hippies 3. Communism 4. Criminal Activity
The USSR had their own version of Marxism which was called Marxist-Lenninism, and Stalin had a more paranoid version of that, called Stalinism. The ideas of Marx were certainly a major part of communism as practiced in Russia, but there were major elements of communism which departed from the original theories of Marx; it is doubtful that Marx himself, had he lived to observe the USSR, would have been happy with it.
