King Phillips War occurred when King Phillip attacked Plymouth Colony. That colony was located in the part of Massachusetts east of Rhode Island. Both the settlers and the Indians burned the others' crops. Plymouth Colony could purchase more food and ammunition from England. The Indians could not. The Indians starved because their crops and barns had been burned. The settlers did not starve even tho their barns and crops had been barns. King Phillip did not realize that no one would reinforce him and the English would reinforce the Pilgrims.
