In spite of the green cropful name, his fellow Europeans (Vikings) went there for better life but all they found was long areas of icey wonderlands. Iceland was a smaller island of the coast of Greenland. The disappointed Europeans (Vikings) explored this land as well and some who were too disappointed, hopeless, or couldn't afford to travel any longer, remained in Iceland.
