Who invented ac motor?

Nikola Tesla invented the poly-phase induction motor in 1883.

Who found new ways to use electricity?

If you're talking about DC vs AC, the man who found the most ways to use electricity and should be considered one of the founders of modern electricity is Nikola Tesla. Despite what many schools teach, Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb. Nikola Tesla was the original inventor, Thomas Edison only adjusted it to be "sellable." Thomas Edison was an entrepreneur, not a scientist. He was interested in making money, not creating things. Nikola Tesla is practically the founder of all modern electricity, before Tesla we were using DC, which is direct current. This method was very inefficient, and required lots of power plants. Meanwhile, AC or alternate current, invented by Nikola Tesla, was much more efficient and it did not require a power plant every couple of blocks. Tesla even had a wireless version of the electricity - however Edison could not think of a way to make profit off of this, and therefore it was not implemented. To name a few of Tesla's inventions; radio, x-ray, radar, light bulb, remote control, electric motor, robotics, laser, and wireless. Many of his inventions were not implemented until later dates, and by people other than him over time who just did some tweaking.

Who invented fluorescent lighting and induction motor?

Nikola Tesla was an inventor. Because of his revolutionary contributions in the field of "electricity and magnetism" in 19th and 20th centuries he earned the names; "Man out of his time","Father of the physics","The man who invented the twentieth century","Wizard of the west", "Modern prometheus" "The modern sorcerer" and "The genius who lit the world". This is the man you all seeking.

What was Nikola Tesla's second invention?

In 1888 Tesla designed the first practical system of generating and transmitting alternating current for electric power. The American rights to this epoch-making invention were bought by the American inventor George Westinghouse, who demonstrated the system for the first time at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Two years later Tesla's alternating-current motors were installed at the Niagara Falls power project. Tesla made his first invention, then called a telephone repeater, or amplifier, but today would be called a loud speaker.

What were Nikola Tesla's interests?

His was interested in electricity. Tesla changed the way the whole world lives. He invented the alternate current system for producing electrify to the whole world. All wireless units have the base in the Tesla coil. Even bulbs we use today were invented by him. The first things we have to know about bulbs lights is that Edison did not invent those, but only improve them by filling them with copper linings of metals. The second thing is that the Edison patent is outlawed in many countries including the United States and the patent used is the Tesla patent 455,069, dated June 30, 1891. In the Tesla bulbs, the union was better and never had a case of one catching fire like the Edison bulbs. He also made them to allow them to turn on wirelessly. Tesla hypothesized that he could transmit unlimited amounts of power to any place on earth with virtually no loss. The first 'Magnifier' was assembled in New York City between 1895 to 1898. In 1899 a larger magnifier was constructed in Colorado Springs, Colorado with the patent "System of Electric Lighting," U.S. Patent 454,622, 23 June 1891. Tesla spent his remaining funds on his other inventions and culminated his efforts in a major breakthrough in 1899 at Colorado Springs by transmitting 100 million volts of high-frequency electric power wirelessly over a distance of 26 miles at which he lit up a bank of 200 light bulbs and ran one electric motor! With this souped up version of his Tesla coil, Tesla claimed that only 5% of the transmitted energy was lost in the process.
