Ben Franklin remains buried in the cemetery next to Christ Church in Old City, Philadelphia. His grave is visible at all hours. In a waste of money that would have appalled Franklin, people throw coins on his grave to this day.

Benjamin Franklin died on April 17, 1790. He was buried in the cemetery of Christ Church, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents, Abiah Folger and Josiah Franklin are buried in Boston, MA in the Granary Burying ground on Tremont St. Also in this cemetery: Paul Revere, Mary Goose (Mother Goose), and John Hancock.
