There should be a sticker that says Catalyst that you will see as soon as you open the hood that will have the year, engine size and recommended oil weight on it.
Yes It would if its 2.3L engine size. Also, fits Oldsmobile Achieva of same year. Thanks

does my 1996 pontiac ga stall out in park
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
Why wouldn't it? There is NO difference between a 1999 and a 2000, as of right this second i have a 1999 Pontiac grand am with a 3.4 liter (what your looking at right now) and built it from ground up. I know plenty about cars.
Try putting the pedal to the floor while cranking it
its missing 4 cylinders sir!
collapsed lifter?
TPS sensor or maf. I seafoamed my entire car seemed to do the trick
A bad fuel pump can cause your 1998 Pontiac Grand Am engine to randomly stop running. The fuel pump might be working at times and then at other times not working.
The computer won't work properly if you do. The engine would be the simple/inexpensive part. The computer and rewiring would be cost prohibitive.
No.
