2003 on some Civics.
8th generation Civics (2006-up) have timing chains. Timing chains are more durable than timing belts. Unless there is a problem timing chains never get replaced; timing belts need replacing every 60,000 miles .
It appears that 2014 Honda Civics use a timing belt.

According to Honda's website, 2006 was the first year that all the standard Honda Civic's (CE LX DX etc) had timing CHAINS, so you do not need to change it out. The Honda SIs have always had timing chains.
From 2002 HONDA replaced timing belt with chains ...so no more timing belt hassle.
01-04 civics have a belt 05-10 civics have a chain (no replacement-only with engine replacement)

Most Hondas do not have a timing chain. It is reported that the 2003 to 2007 models of Honda Accords have a timing chain, however.
4 cylinder 2003-2007 Honda Accords have timing chains. 6 cylinder 2003-2007 Honda Accords have timing belts.
