Simon
Scripture only mentions his father's name Simon (John 6:71).
John's gospel names Simon Iscariot as Judas' father. (This was not the same Simon who became a disciple of Jesus and was renamed Peter.)
I suppose you mean Judas Iscariot, there were several men named Judas in the Bible. Women's names are not given very often, and Judas' mother is not named, but his father's name was Simon Iscariot. (John 6:71)
NoAnswer:The gospels of Matthew and Mark both contain the account of events at the house of "Simon the leper", and John's gospel reveals that Judas was the son of a man named Simon, but there is no indication that Simon the leper and Simon the father of Judas were one and the same. In fact, "the leper" was most likely used to distinguish that man from any of the other eight Simons mentioned in the New Testament.
It wasn't Judas' father that carried the cross, Luke 23:26 "When they led Him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus." John 6:71 states "Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him." Though they are both named Simon, they are different Simons. The disciple Peter was also named Simon, as well as one of Jesus' half-brothers.
Simon, Andrew, James, John, Philip Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, Simon, Judas, Judas
There is no historical figure named Simon Iscariot. You may be thinking of Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and is known for betraying Jesus to the religious authorities.
Not likely. As the keeper of the disciples' money bag, it is likely he was somehow associated with finance or the merchant class. Nothing about his life before becoming a disciple is known beyond the name of his father, Simon. Iscariot isn't even likely his last name (he would have been called Judas bar Simon -- Judas son of Simon), surnames largely non-existent at the time, and was morw probably a descriptor of sorts.
