W210 is the chassis designation for the E class mercedes for model years 1995 to 2002. Prior to 1995 it was the W124 After 202 it was W211
Try disconecting the battery for a couple minutes,it worked for me..
I would not get one. it stops in mid air. sucks! not good!
Here is a excellent service manual on-line at the fallowing website: http://w124-zone.com/downloads/MB%20CD/W124/Index/103index.html Just copy and paste it and save it.
Assuming E230 is what is written on the vehicle? It indicates that its an "E" class mercedes, and the 230 indicates its a 2.3 litre engine.
I believe that each radio has its own code, you will have to get it from a dealer.
the engine size for Mercedes its always the number in this case its 2.3
i am working on the same problem at my 230 ce 1990 right now (w124). the first thing you have to check is the blower motor, and when you have got that out of the car, you see a panel, straight trough that panel there is a resistor, if thats not burned, you can check any wires going in and away from the resistor. in my case it is the panel to the heater that is broken. Good luck! :) (my english is not the best because im Norwegian)
The battery to your E class is located under the rear seat. There are two "clips" that are located on the sides of the rear seats, pull those to access the battery.
Not all E-class have two batteries, for the ones that do, one is under the hood and the other is in the trunk.
Under rear passenger seat.
it is located in the trunk of the car
