fingernails
Gravity is a fact of life: so it would be most likely that water collects on the bottom surface more easily and oxidation occurs there more readily.
antiseptics target the bacteria and alter the PHof their enviroment toa more basic or acidic level in which they cant live or grow in
Soap scum is actually what you get when soap combines with minerals in your water which forms a chemical reaction. It is not bacteria or mold but it can be a house for bacteria to multiply and live. Some soap formulas leave more soap scum than others but they don't deposit bacteria or mold. Bleach is a great product for killing this bacteria and scum.
kills bacteria activates pepsinogen to decrease the Ph level ( make it more acidic)
Because it is an enzyme which means it breaks down cells and bacteria in order to make dishes and plates more hygenic
My toenails definitely grow faster than my fingernails. I must be one of the unusual people in this world because everything I read sayd that fingernails grow faster. I know for a fact that my toenails grow faster, but I have no idea why. I wish my fingernails would grow as fast as my toenails! I don't think that toenails grow faster than fingernails, it's that toenails tend to be stronger so they don't break as easily. That's why it seems to some people that their toenails are growing faster than their fingernails; Fingernails are more susceptible to breakage because they are thinner.
Yes, fingernails do grow faster than toenails.
Yes for the most part, i once didn't take it off and it lasted a whole year!! that's how you know you have good polish!!!You can use the same polish on your fingernails and toenails and the toenails will most likely keep the polish longer. This is simply because you use your fingers much more than your toes and the nails are constantly subjected to the elements. While the toes hang out in comfy socks and shoes, the nailpolish on your fingernails wear and chip away with use.
That is a good observation indeed. This happens probably because your hands have better blood supply than your feet.
A number of theories about the reasons for having toe and fingernails abound. Most relate to human evolution, suggesting that they are related to the claws which other members of the animal kingdom have. Fingernails especially are highly useful to perform daily tasks, and toenails sometimes come in handy as well, depending on the situation. While toe and fingernails may be vestigial remains of our wild past, most people who have lost nails agree that they are much more valuable than they look. One theory about fingernails and toenails suggests that they are designed to protect the delicate nail bed. This supposition has been dismissed by many doctors, who point out that people who permanently lose nails develop tougher nail beds. It seems more likely that the delicate tissue or quick under the nail evolved in response to the presence of fingernails, rather than the other way around. The more likely reason for the presence of fingernails and toenails is that they are useful. Fingernails help humans to scratch things, peel fruit, open things, pick away the outer layers of other edibles, undo knots, and perform a variety of other tasks. In a more distant past, fingernails probably assisted humans with the capture of body lice, as is still seen among the great apes. When the feet were used more like hands, toenails served a similar function, helping humans to open vital food objects, strip bark to build structures, and other such things.
short answer, oxygen and movement more airflow to your toes increases circulation as does movement spaxton21- my toenails grow 10x faster than my fingernails!
The fingernails and toenails protect the ends of our fingers and toes. Without the nails, our fingers and toes would be hurt more often.
Because you're doing it wrong. Answer: Maybe you're too fussy and you're trying to trim them as short as possible. Anyway, 1 hour is bad, but it's not as bad as the last time I trimmed my toenails, which took an incredible 4 hours! I had to stop several times, to stretch and relax my sore legs from being hunched over for so many hours. I don't know why it would take anybody 10 minutes to trim fingernails let alone an hour or more for toenails... It should only take maybe 2 minutes to trim your fingernails.
yess. they reproduce more fingernails. yeaah.
Bacteria can easily grow on fingernails, so long nails aren't sanitary enough when cooking for the public as a chef does. Even if one washes their hands frequently, it still doesn't remove the dirt and bacteria from under the fingernails. Also, food tends to get under long nails, and it's more difficult to dice food with long nails because they get in the way.
People's fingernails are designed to protect the ends of our fingers, which are much more delicate than fingernails are.
Nope, they are more of a hoof than toenails.
