Lots of food with carbs. Helps if you eat them the day before your race.
It doesn't get any better than K&K Soul Food. I'm not sure you'll find a better soul food restaurant in the country. "Mae's Soul Food restaurant is the best in the city, hands down."
Italian and French cuisines are considered by most to be the best foods. Obviously this is different in Asia and Africa where the cultures are entirely different.
only those countries that are willing to accept sub-standard food. you need to qualify your question or you will be judges as a troll
All Kings and Queens , no matter what country they are living in, eat the same foods as everyone else in their country. The only difference is, they can afford to buy the very best food and any luxury food that might take their fancy. To the best of my knowledge, they never eat scraps or leftovers.
It depends upon the snack and the country. Usually fruit is a no-go. The best advice is to check the specific rules of the country you're entering into if you want to bring a certain food. Of course, the border guard won't stop you from crossing the border if you have a food that you can't cross with; he or she will just confiscate the food.
In what state or country? A local phone book might be the best source of information.
Alinea- voted the #1 restaurant in the country. It is pricey- but one the best food adventures I have ever had. If you are into a little more down to earth kind of food- try Primehouse. Great steak in a great hotel.
