Saturated fats, for both animal and vegetable
Broccoli contains no fats, it is a vegetable.
Vegetable oil contains virtually no carbohydrates. It is primarily composed of fats, specifically unsaturated fats, and is commonly used for cooking and baking. Therefore, if you're monitoring carbohydrate intake, vegetable oil can be considered a zero-carb food.
Cheese contains a mixture of animal and vegetable fats. Neither are very good for you so eat it in moderation.
HydrogenationDuring hydrogenation, vegetable oils are hardened by reacting them with hydrogen gas at about 60ºC. A nickel catalyst is used to speed up the reaction. The double bonds in the vegetable oils are converted into single bonds. This is the way unsaturated fats can be made into saturated fats.
There should not be any animal fats in vegetable oil, as that is exactly what it is: vegetable oil.
