While some of the months were named after ancient gods, July never was.

The month was originally Quintilis (the fifth month, effectively 'Quintember' or the like), but this was changed to Julius - July - in honour of Julius Caesar. Since Julius Caesar was recognised as a Divus (god who had been a human) after his death, we could say that Julius Caesar is the god after whom July was named.
