In most cases Mac's are more reliable and faster than PC's and will last longer, as well as easier to use.
HP computers, however, are much more inexpensive and affordable. Both companies offer great technical support and high quality products, as well as remarkable cosmetic designs for their products. The difficult thing with HPs is that when they get faulty in a year or two, you have to pay for the fix even though you did nothing wrong with it.
