It depends on how bad the mastitis is, when you milk her and only see a few "flakes" then apply a mint cream (such as, dynamint or udder comfort) after she has been thoroughly milked.
If when you milk her the milk looks like cottage cheese and the infected quarter is hard than you will need to treat her with an antibiotic that is inserted directly into the teat end. It is recommended that you talk to your veterinarian for the available antibiotics that are available in your area. You can also apply some mint cream as well as the antibiotic.
