Sometimes cooking cheese based dishes on a very high temperature will make the cheese overcook and look slightly odd, but that's different to curdling.

Breyer's Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream is not on the "Ice Creams" recall page, but Breyer's Tin Roof Sundae Ice Cream is. I suggest you go to Breyer's website to check to see if there are any updates. It seems odd to me that Breyer's would buy peanut products from two different companies for their ice cream. It doesn't make good business sense to me, so I don't entirely trust the info.
