I'm assuming you're referring to the 4-way Infinity connector. The center two wires (green and black on the speaker sitting on my shelf) are the + and - for the audio, repsectively, and the red and grey (outer two wires) are +12V and ground for the onboard amp in the Infinity speakers.
Gently pry off plastic covers in door They are held in by clips underneath are speakers held in by 2 or 3 screws remove speakers. Wires should be snap in plugs remove by unsnapping plug-in.Connect snap-in plug wires to new speakers Place new speakers in door slot for speakers, screw back in ,remount cover back in place
To change the front speakers, you will have to remove the door panels to expose the speakers. Once exposed, unhook them by disconnecting all the wires.
your wires maybe touching or the speakers are blown
For the front speakers, take apart the door, disconnect the speaker wires and unscrew support screws.
check 9 pin plug in the back of radio also check wires going to speakers
You either have accidentally Disconnected the Wires to the rear speaks or you have the Fade on the radio set to the front.
It could be a combination of wires and the amp, but I would start with the amp.
The wires for the left front window are red/black for up and green/black for white. For the right front window, the wires for up are red/white and the wires for down are green.
In a Peugeot 306, the speakers are located inside the front doors. There should be four wires total, two for the speakers and two for the tweeters.
you match them with the same colors
That really depends on what year the regal is. For the early 90's there are two speakers located in the trunk directly below the rear window which are visible from inside the trunk, and there are two speakers located in the top of the dashboard which are accessible by removing the speaker grills. For later model Buick regals the rear speakers are the same, but the front speakers are located in the front door panels (you have to remove the door panels to access the wires).
There should be a grille covering the speaker. A Flathead screwdriver can pop it off. From there, unscrew the screws holding the speaker in place, and unhook the wires. The rear deck ones are a bit more tricky You have to remove the entire back seat as well as the cover on the rear deck. The 2 speakers are located underneath. they are 6x9s.
