The 2000 Ford Ranger Owner Guide shows , for the 2.5 liter four cylinder ,
( Motorcraft FL-400S ) but fordparts.com shows ( Motorcraft FL-400-S and
Motorcraft FL-400-A ) for the 2.5 liter four cylinder in a 2000 Ford Ranger . I
don't know what the difference is between the two filters , anybody know ?
I checked motorcraft.com , and the owners manual for a 2000 Ford Ranger and they both indicate that the only 4 cylinder engine in a 2000 Ford Ranger is a 2.5 L. With filter change it takes 4.5 quarts ( 4.3 liters )
