Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine and sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter
( downstream ) on a Ford Explorer / F-150
Bank 2 is on the passenger side of the engine and the o2 sensor is located right after the cat converter on the passenger side. Bank 1 is on the drivers side of the engine.
Bank 2 is the passenger's side of the engine and sensor 2 is behind the catalytic converter on that side.
Bank 1 is the same side of the engine as cylinder #1. Sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter.
BANK # 1 is the passenger side of the engine / BANK #1 SENSOR # 1 is in the exhaust before the catalytic converter / BANK # 1 SENSOR # 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BANK # 2 is the drivers side of the engine / BANK # 2 SENSOR # 1 is in the exhaust before the catalytic converter / BANK # 2 SENSOR # 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine. Bank 1 is the drivers side of the engine.02 sensor 1 is the sensor that is the closest to the exhaust manifold that bolts to the side of the cylinder head.Sensor 2 is the one that is closer to the exhaust muffler.
bank 2 is the passenger side and the #2 sensor will be screwed into the exhaust pipe. And will be the sensor that's closest to the muffler on that side. The sensor that's closest to the engine on that side is sensor 1. Then the pipe on the drivers side of the engine will have 2 sensors also in the same order.
Assuming this is a V6 or V8 engine, Bank 2 is the bank of cylinders on the passenger side of engine. Sensor 1 is threaded into the exhaust pipe between the passenger side of engine and the catalytic converter AKA upstream.
Bank 2 sensor 2 is the second sensor down from the exhaust manifold on the radiator side of the engine.
On a Ford F-150 , bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine and sensor 2 is in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Neither, that should be the sensor after the catalytic converter. Bank 1 sensor 1 would be the first sensor on the drivers side of engine. Bank 2 sensor 1 would be the first sensor on the passengers side of engine. Bank 1 sensor 2 would be the sensor after the catalytic converter.
On GM, bank one is drivers side of engine, bank 2 is passengers side. Sensor(s) 1 is the upstream sensor, meaning BEFORE catalytic converter. Sensor(s) 2 are located downstream, or AFTER the catalytic converter, therefore, bank 2, sensor 2 is located in the exhaust pipe leading from the passenger side of engine and after the catalytic converter.
bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine sensor 2 is after the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter ( downstream )
