It should be a 195 degree. Be careful taking the bolts out of the intake that holds the t-stat housing down to it. The intake manifold those are screwed into is aluminum and the bolts are steel. They like to corrode into the aluminum.
Remove the water supply hose from your 1992 Chevy thermostat housing. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. The thermostat can be lifted out. Reverse the process to install the new thermostat.
