The computer itself has fans in, not the components.
The fans circulate air through the computer cooling the parts so they don't overheat. In older computers, the power supply was the main source of heat and only the power supply would require a cooling fan. Later computers had an additional fan on the box frame for heat generated by components. As computers became faster and used more power, some components generated so much heat that they needed additional fans. The CPU chip(s), GPU graphic processing units and some other components have fans attached to them to keep them cool enough to operate without being damaged by the heat.
Monitor and bios
depends what needs to be fixed and how badly the parts are damaged
Many places offer wholesale computer parts depending on the exact parts needs looking in the local phone book or for faster results search the web to find your computer parts.
The fan could be rusty and needs greasing
Several parts of a computer can have a fan attached. The most common ones are the CPU and the fan inside the power supply. There are also fans mounted in most desktop cases, and some newer video cards require a fan.
What a number of people have found is the computer has been on for a time and has got rally hot inside. When you turn the computer off the fan continues to spin as the computer is still too hot to work. If the computer is starting from cold and has not been used for several hours and only the fan works but the rest of the computer stays off then a qualified technician needs to find out why.
Laptop parts are not the same from computer to computer, whereas desktop parts, with the exception of the plastic case, are fully interchangeable.Laptop parts are WAY smallerLaptop parts are extremely hard to replace because laptops are made so that you cannot open it, even to just clean the fan.
A computer needs instructions to perform a task. There are many aspects of a computer, such as all the internal parts, the peripherals, and the software components. A computer needs hardware to store and process information, and needs software instructions to do anything for us. If there was no software at all on a computer it would merely be a box of parts. There would be no software telling the computer to show information on the output, and no software to accept instructions from the input.
Computer parts are like monitor, Cpu, speakers, mouse, keyboard. Etc.. Which has physical entity. Computer components are like a function of that particular object. Computer components are hard disk which stores permanent data, Ram which maintenance temporary data, and we have fan in cpu etc..
