Ranghar, a pavilion and sports complex, was built during the reign of King Pramatta Singha of the Ahom dynasty in the 18th century. It was primarily used for cultural and recreational activities in the capital city of Rangpur, which is now part of present-day Assam, India.

Due to the fact that Epcot's name was originally an acronym standing for 'Experimental Prototype Community of Tommarow', it was built to become a place to show off what Walt Disney hoped a community would look like in the future. However, it later didn't become this same thought, after his death.
