Job requirements Learning to become a copywriter can be difficult if you do not have the personality for it. A good copywriter: •Works well in groups •Is a good conceptual thinker •Is creative •Must always strive for new solutions •Is innovative •Good communication and interpersonal skills •Quick thinker As far as educational requirements go, a copywriter should have a bachelor’s degree in really anything. Having some writing experience does help too. It is even better if they have some experience in marketing or advertising as well. A copywriter is a great job for someone who is good at thinking outside of the box and being able to communicate it well.
