Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians most widely known for the door-to-door minstry. They are the ones who are fulfilling the prophecy given in Matthew 24:14: "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."

They are the ones who fulfill the "Great Commission" given to Christians by Jesus in Matthew 28:19, 20 - "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things."; They go by what Matt. 28:19,20 states we are being witnesses of Jehovah when we go from door to door and that is the simple explanation as to why we are called Jehovah's Witnesses.

Why were Jehovahs witnesses sent to concentration camps?

Jehovah's Witnesses refused to conform to Nazi ideology and refused to cooperate with Hitler's political aims and military endevors and and because of this were targeted for the harshest of treatments. Historian Brian Dunn identifies 3 basic reasons why the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses were incompatible with Nazism:1. The Witnesses's opposition to racism in any form2. The international scope of the religion, implying international equality3. The Witnesses's political neutrality & their refusal to swear allegiance to the state

Who did Hitler hate more the Jews or Jehovah's Witnesses?

Probably this is unanswerable, since we can't ask him directly, but it is evident that he hated a variety of groups who he either disagreed with or for racial reasons. Essentially his philosophy, which made every and any method acceptable in its achievement, was full of hatred for particular groups such as Jews, Jehovahs Witnesses, Gypsies, the Wends and other slavic minorities in Germany - essentially anyone who he believed was a hindrance to his goals. Some Christian groups such as the confessing church also were imprisoned and some, like Bonhoeffer, killed.
