Parachuting Penguins is a graphic design and marketing company that was founded in 2003 in Rogers, Arkansas by David and Paula Routon. After becoming frustrated in a previous business venture whenever they tried to get Paula's graphic files produced, they decided to head out on their own and create a unique printing company that specializes in digital technology with graphic design as the backbone of their concept. Parachuting Penguins handles all printed projects that involve graphic design. From quick copy to long run press, large format, vinyl and full color banners, web design, and all forms of apparel including embroidery and silk screen, David and Paula have one of the most revolutionary businesses to hit the market in recent memory. They created a philosophy call "Capture the Customer" which involves creating as many opportunities to deal with their client's needs without having them look elswhere. Each time creating another sale, but also developing a relationship with their clients instead of single sales approach. Customer Service is paramount and all members of their team carry out a relentless program to improve their skills which will make their clients want to come back. In 2005, after growing to seven full time employess which included additional designers and production personell, The Penguins moved to their present location at 1201 S Walton Blvd in Bentonville, Arkansas. In the process, they doubled the size of their retail space and increased their team to 12 people within 18 months. Being involved with charity events, chambers of commerce, public libraries, and other social and political causes have made The Penguins a resource for many others to network through in the past 5 years. They have also inspired others to do good work in the community helping North West Arkansas to grow into a great place to live. Besides graphic design, Parachuting Penguins has become a leader in the Hospitality industry in North West Arkansas by creating websites for hotels and restaurants called NWArestaurants.com, NWAcatering.com, NWAhotels.com, and XNAmaps.com. They also own over 400 other domains which particular relevance to the NWA region.
