Other sites like Quora (founded by ex-Facebookers which recently received $11M in funding) and Aardvark (founded by ex-Googlers and bought by Google for $50M) have recently received significant attention. There are also niche sites like StackOverflow for programmers and AnswersOnStartups for entrepreneurs.
In terms of market share and revenue, Yahoo! Answers is the only user generated Q&A site in the same ballpark as WikiAnswers, but the new startup Q&A have interesting social angles.
eHow is a significant competitor from an end-user point of view, but it is not a community generated Q&A site.
