Yes, ravens do eat squirrels. This afternoon I observed a raven, who was being mobbed by approximately thirty crows, raiding a squirrel's nest situated in a Douglas fir. Minutes later the raven landed on the ground, with a dead juvenile squirrel in its beak.
The animal that has a symbiotic relationship with a cuckoo is the warbler. The warbler first lays its egg in the nest that it builds, and the cuckoo lays one of its eggs in the same nest when the adult goes off to feed.

Male Betta's do not have babies. The female lays the eggs, the male fertilizes them and then takes care of them in a "bubble nest" that he builds until they hatch.

When breeding, the male (Betta splendens) does not "catch" the female. He builds a bubble nest and then tries to tempt the female under it by showing off etc. If she is interested she will check it out and when the nest is to her liking she will allow herself to be embraced under the nest by the male and her ova will be released and fertilised. Spawning can take a couple of hours but be prepared to remove the female once spawning has stopped otherwise the male will kill her.
