Sometime around the last Ice Age a group of people that are today known as Native American's claimed the lands known today as America. They were uninhabited at the time.
Aproximately 10,000 to 110,000 years later a man named Christopher Columbus got lost looking for India and landed in the Carribean. This started an Immigration to America by people from Europe. Its interesting to note that this same culture came here and refused to adapt to the cultures, languages, and customs already in place; but today their decendants complain about the same things from others.

∙ 12y agoThe first conquests were made by the Spanish and the Portuguese in 1492. The first known Europeans to reach the America were the Vikings during the 11th century. In 1492, a Spanish expedition headed by Christopher Columbus sailed to the America.
