Our Blessed Lord certainly looked after His Mother and He gave her into St. John's care while He hung on the Cross. Mary lived with John, as it was to his care that Jesus entrusted her. She lived in Ephesis, we think, until she was assumed into heaven at the end of her life.
St. John.
John . When Jesus said to Mary from the Cross 'Woman behold your son' Jesus was not referring to himself as the woman's son' In the next part of the account Jesus says to the disciple who was standing by Mary, "behold, your mother' referring to the Mary. This passage comes from John's gospel, and it is generally believed that John refers to himself throughout this gospel as 'the disciple whom Jesus loved'. As we are told that the disciple at the cross is this very same disciple, we can be assured that it was John who stood with Mary. We know that John was this disciple as there are parallel accounts of incidents in the other gospels whete Jesus is with Peter, James and John - but in John's gospel the same accounts use the phrase: Peter, James and "the disciple whom Jesus loved"...suggesting that John shows a little modesty in his own account. In Jewish law the oldest son was responsible for looking after a widowed mother. In Jesus' case, being the oldest son of Mary, who by that time was widowed, it was his responsibility to arrange care for her. When Jesus said 'Woman, behold your son" and to John "behold your mother" he was passing on the responsibility, after his death, of looking after Mary, to the only disciple who stuck with him - John. We are then told that John took Mary into his own home and looked after her as his own mother.
After the crucifixion, Mary lived with John, the son of Zebedee. He is often referred to as the beloved disciple, and authorship of the gospel of John ca. 90 A.D. is often attributed to him.
Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son." Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. (John 19:25-27 NAB)

Though the Scripture does not mention Jesus' mother, Mary after the start of the early Church, Jesus did put her in the Apostle John's charge. Therefore, it may be inferred that Mary lived with or in John's home(s) until her death.
John 19:25-27New King James Version (NKJV) Behold Your Mother25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son!" 27 Then He said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.
Roman Catholic AnswerAll we know for certain is that Our Blessed Lady lived for some time after her Son's Ascension. Tradition tells us that she lived in Jerusalem or Ephesus until the end of her life. The most probably date of her Assumption into heaven is A.D. 48, which would mean that she lived on earth for 11 years after her Son's Ascension.from The Catholic Encyclopedia
There is no certain tradition as to the year of Mary's death. Baronius in his Annals relies on a passage in the Chronicon of Eusebius for his assumption that Mary died A.D. 48. It is now believed that the passage of the Chronicon is a later interpolation. [135] Nirschl relies on a tradition found in Clement of Alexandria [136] and Apollonius [137] which refers to a command of Our Lord that the Apostles were to preach twelve years in Jerusalem and Palestine before going among the nations of the world; hence he too arrives at the conclusion that Mary died A.D. 48.
St. John the Apostle following the request made by Jesus as he was dying on the cross, took in Mary. They eventually left Jerusalem and moved to Ephesus where life was a bit safer, Some say Mary eventually moved back to Jerusalem but there is no conformation of this,
We know that, initially, she was cared for by the Apostle John, probably in Jerusalem. Tradition says that she then lived in Ephesus and died (or was assumed into heaven) there. However, their is no positive proof of where she lived.
Our Lady lived with St. John the Apostle, after her Son's Passion, Death, & Resurrection.
After Our Lord's Crucifixion & Resurrection, Our Lady lived with St. John the Apostle. For a while there, they lived up in Ephesus.
After the death of Jesus, Mary went to stay with the Apostle John.

Mary, the mother of Jesus, is believed to have lived in Nazareth in Galilee, and later in Bethlehem in Judea when Jesus was born. After Jesus' crucifixion, tradition holds that she lived with the apostle John in Ephesus, Turkey.
Nazareth
There is not a person listed named Fatima. This is a city located in Portugal and the reported location of sightings of Mary the mother of Jesus.
According to Luke 1:38-40, Elizabeth lived in the 'hill country of Judea.' That is where Mary mother of Jesus went to visit her.
They lived in Nazareth.
St. John the apostle took Blessed Mother Mary to his own home in Jerusalem. This is supported by the Bible verse John 19:27, which states that Jesus told John to take care of Mary as his own mother, and Mary to treat John as her own son.
Why do catholics devote themselves to Mary? Christians worship Jesus Christ and that he died on the cross for our sins. But how i look at it, catholics worship mary because he was her mother. that doesnt make sense. She didn't do anything except for give him birth, while Jesus was cruciied and died so we could live. i think catholics shouldn't devote themselves to mary. Not at all.
in heaven
The Scripture is silent as to the times of death for both His step-father Joseph and His mother, Mary. However, we can narrow it down a bit if curious. The last Scripture to mention Joseph alive is at Jesus' 12th birthday visiting the Temple in Jerusalem. At the start of His ministry at 30 years of age, Joseph is no longer mentioned and is presumed dead. Mary however, is present at the crucifixion of her son, Jesus when He was about 36.5 years of age as some scholars have dated this event on Passover, 31 AD. Jesus just before He dies, gives a command to His Apostle to take care of His earthly mother Mary. We do not know how much longer she lived though some historians have placed her travels with the Apostle John several years/decades later.
First it was Bethlehem then it was Nazareth.
That was John who was the one to live longer up to 100 ad some 60 years after Christ crucifixion.
The Gnostic Apocalypse of Peter provides a vivid description of Jesus as a spectator at his own crucifixion. According to the Second Treatise of tbe Great Seth the substitute was Simon, who bore the cross and on whom the crown of thorns was placed, while Jesus was an onlooker. Some legends say that Jesus went with Mary Magdalene to the south of France, and that their descendants still live there.
