Charles Curtis was his vice president. Franklin Roosevelt became president after Herbert Hoover left office in 1933. Herbert Hoover became president after Calvin Coolidge left office in 1929. Eight months after Hoover became president the Stock Market crashed.Many of people lost their jobs by 1932. This thing became known as the Great Depression. Many people blamed Hoover for not doing enough to help the country out of the hard times. In 1931 president Hoover annexed south areas of Bryce Canyon. In 1933 Hoover left the White House. In 1944 his wife Lou died. Herbert Hoover died on October 20,1964 in New York City.

Franklin D. Rooselvelt(FDR). He is a distant cousin of Teddy Roosevelt, he also served the longest presidency with 3 and a half terms.
