If we had the answer, we would be rated next to the invention of the wheel.
WE HAVE THE ANSWER! Our test results prove a reduction of toxic emissions as follows: SULFUR...100%, CO2...90%...NOX...70%. These results will provide the planet with potable water, fertile farm lands, increased fish population, improved health, at a minimal cost & elimination of EPA Fines. Need to know? Sulfur Dioxide is given off by coal-burning power plants
Urea, fertilizer, and ammonia plants release carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, various nitrogen oxides, and methane (CH4). The most obvious emission is hydrogen sulfide (H2S) but it is also released in much smaller quantities.

A power plant burning coal will emit almost 3 tonnes of carbon dioxide for every tonne of coal burned. Coal fired power plants are found all around the world. Data will be examined for US power plants. There are 492 coal-fired power plants in the U.S., with an average size of 667 megawatts (MW). The 2009 USEPA estimate of CO2 emissions is 1,329 lbs CO2 per megawatt-hour. This puts the total CO2 emission at about 1,900 million metric tonnes of CO2 a year.
The EPA historically has not had enough power to enforce better emission regulations. Most of the emissions in the US, almost 50%, come from coal-burning power plants.
fear of the waste.
Plants will grow better in a garden. Car emission fumes are harmful to plants.
Radioactive wastes that can last thousands of years
You don't list the waste problems, so how can I answer? However radioactive waste is not a problem for a coal burning plant
Sulfur dioxide is released from the burning of fossil fuels.
Stack emissions are gases that are released into the atmosphere from industries. Flue gases are exited via a flue especially in power plants.
In the desert, the carbon cycle is a continuous and non-stop process. Plants and the atmosphere exchange carbon. Carbon is released when plants breathe and when organisms die. The cycle starts again when plants use the carbon that has been released.
