What did joash do that caused him to be assassinated?

1) Though righteous for decades, he later abandoned his piety (2 Chronicles 24:17-22). This was evil in the sight of the majority of the Judeans, which is why they didn't bury him in an honored location (ibid, verse 25).2) Those who killed him were avenging the blood of Zechariah ben Yehoyada, whom Joash had murdered (Rashi commentary, on 2 Chronicles 24:25).

Who got back his speech after the birth of his son in the Bible?

Luke 1:5-22 tells of how the angle Gabriel was sent to Zechariah, a priest. Gabriel prophesied about the birth of his son, whom he would name John. Zechariah did not believe him, and became mute. Verses 57-66 tells that the son is born, and Elizabeth (the mother) wants to name him John. The neighbors and relatives want to name him Zechariah. They ask Zechariah what he wants the child's name to be. When he writes on a tablet "his name is John", then "Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue was loosed, and he began to speak, praising God" (verse 64).

What is the most memorable verse in the Bible on blessings?

For me it is from the book of John chapter 3 verse 16.Another answer:"Most memorable" makes your question entirely subjective. On the topic of blessings, this verse always comes to my mind: James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. [NKJV]

What are Muslim views on forgivesness?

One of the main teachings in Islam is to forgive people in order to be forgiven by God. The concept of forgiveness and tolerance is one of the most fundamental principles of Islam.Quran says (meaning English translation):"Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the foolish (i.e don't count on their doings"[Quran, chapter 7, verse 199]Also, Quran says:"A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the bad with something better and, if there is enmity between you and someone else, he will be like a bosom friend."[Quran, chapter 41, verse 34]God describes forgiveness as a superior quality and, in one verse, He promised that such behavior will be rewarded. This Quran verse is:"The repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it. But if someone pardons and puts things right, his reward is with God. Certainly He does not love wrongdoers."[Quran, chapter 42, verse 40]In another Quran verse, God describes whom He loves."those who give in times of both ease and hardship, those who control their rage and pardon other people - God loves the good-doers"[Quran, chapter 3, verse 134]
