Who if anybody owns the rights to Doink the Clown.. I know the WWE uses him frequently and there are independent wrestlers who work with that gimmick. So who owns the rights?

Doink the Clown is a professional wrestling gimmick originally used by Matt Osborne in the WWE from 1992 to 1995. Since Osborne's departure from the WWF, the character has been played by several wrestlers, primarily on the independent circuit, as well as in sporadic special appearances on WWE programming.
Why do Wrestlers talk during their entrance?
Its usually just to show their gimmick. Like during Ken Kennedy's song, you can here him saying "Kennedy!........Kennedy!" And in Carlito's "You know what cool is? You're lookin' at it!" That just to elevate their gimmick and to make their entrance more reconizable to the fans.
