Soon after the comet a fleet of fierce foreign sailors led by Tostig (Kind Harolds exiled brother) came ashore on England. Hardly an invasion, he hoped his newly crowned brother could resolve his past behavior and welcome him home as an earl. Sorry, but no. Months later Norway (convinced by Tostig) invaded followed within days by Normandy and a group of many foreign fighters. Neither of the invaders knew of the others plans. Poor English.
