well no one really knows as early man invented beer after, what I'm guessing, agricultural settlements started with basic crops such as wheat. beers made from wheat of which beer was probably accidentally discovered starting the first alcoholic drink and i guess people started wondering what made people like this.

I have no idea how it really was discovered this is just my hypothesis

alcoholism was first discovered in 1843 by a German doctor named Gutstaev Yorketn who was studying the properties of wine grapes and drinking 5-10 drinks everyday.

Alcoholism wasn't discovered, it was invented. That is to say, there have always been drunks and habitual drinkers, but this "condition" wasn't medicalized as a disease called alcoholism until the 1940's by E. M. Jellinek. Prior to that, it was considered a moral failing. Although others before him had referred to habitual drunkeness as a disease, Jellinek popularized the concept. The disease model of addiction was eventually adopted by the American Medical Association.

The term "alcoholism" was coined by Swedish doctor Magnus Huss in the 1860's as "alcoholismus chronicus", and referred to the range of physical manifestations of excessive, chronic drinking, such as liver impairment, etc., rather than the inability to stop drinking, itself.

The discovery of alcohol was before the creaton of writing, so we have no record of just when, or who- but probably right after a caveman found that some of the wild grapes they had picked had fermented, and turned to wine.

Alcohol wasn't invented, but discovered. It was discovered by unknown people back in Egypt thousands of years ago, used as an anesthetic(pain reliever). The Egyptians even had a god of wine, as well as later the Greeks and Romans. The Chinese also believed that mild alcohol consumption was prescribed by the gods, 3200 years ago.

Alcohol wasn't invented - it occurs naturally. It even occurs naturally within the human body and is called endogenous ethanol production.

Alcohol was not invented. It was discovered, most likely as the result of spoiled grapes (wine precursor) and grains (beer/ale/lager precursor).
