A grateful and hopeful man who taught us how to live in peace and harmony, a great man who deserves for everyone to know his name, Buddha.
The Buddha grew up a prince in India. Until he was a young man, he had never encountered aging or death. When he happened to hear a story of a servant's death, he became very disillusioned about his posh life. Leaving the palace and his princely lifestyle, he began his historic journey towards enlightenment. He tried all the methods of worship, but in vain. At last, He sat below 'A bodhi tree' for 6 days and attained enlightenment. Thus was born Buddhism or Buddhadhamma. Taking on 5 disciples, called the Bodhisattva, He aided others on the path of enlightenment. His highest teachings are that any that seeks enlightenment is a Buddhist. His intention was not to be worshipped or idolized in any way. Only to follow his example and that was all He desired for any creature seeking the place He had attained.
A majestic object of awesomeness
Buddha is the founder of Buddhism he is portrayed differently ffrom what he really is. Buddha came from a wealthy family and decidedd to give up his wealth to find out the reason why humans suffer. He came up with the Four Noble Truths ( i think it was called). The four noble truths were the four ways how to reach nirvana or complete happiness and break the cycle of reincarnation.
Almost 2600 years ago Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, was a prince in Nepal that saw (perhaps because he had been isolated from all negative experience) how bad and painful the world was and decided that all human experience is tied to suffering. He resolved to study and solve this problem. After many years he formulated the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.
The remainder of his life was devoted to teaching his philosophy.
