Rabbi Cara Weinstein Rosenthal was ordained by the Rabbinical School of the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Rabbi Rosenthal attended college at the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a major in psychology.
While at JTS, Rabbi Rosenthal concentrated her studies on the subject of Jewish philosophy. She is particularly interested in theology and the issue of faith in the post-Holocaust age. Rabbi Rosenthal is also passionate about the study of The Bible and rabbinic commentaries on the Bible.
Her goal as a Rabbi is to make Jewish knowledge and tradition accessible and exciting to modern Jews - and to all who seek to understand it.
