Helen Keller born on June 27th 1880. She passed away June 1st 1968. She died at age 87. She was born in Tucumbia Alabama. She was not deaf, dumb and blind when born. Until 19 months old, she was able to see and hear. When she was 19 months old, she came up with Scarlet Fever. At this period of time, this illness was not curable. She lived in darkness until age of 7. When Anne Sullivan was hired to help Helen. In about one month Anne taught Helen how to learn the manual alphabet. She also learned how to read and write and Form sentences. She next mastered braille. She next learned to lip read. She slowly began to speak. As she grew up she wrote two books and was in a movie. In her lifetime she raised 2 million dollars for the American Foundation for the BLind. She is the most famous blind deaf and dumb person to live in lifetime. She proved that deaf dumb and blind people can learn. It doesn't matter what you have you can be helped either way!
