difference vishnu, shiva, brahma
Both Brahma and Shiva were created by Vishnu - according to many Vedas/Puranas
Brahma was the creator of the universe, Vishnu is the maintainer and shiva is the destroyer
The supreme Hindu god Brahman is made of two opposing elements. They are,1. Saguna Brahman - the facilitating force that converts a thought into an action2. Nirguna Brahman - the retarding force that converts an action into a thought and even abolishes it.In Brahman the two components are distinctly separate. This make activity and rest 100% efficient with Brahman.SIMILARITIES AMONG BRAHMA, VISHNU AND SHIVA:Like Brahman, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are made of Saguna Brahman and Nirguna Brahman only.In Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva the two components always coexist making both activity and rest less efficient.DIFFERENCE AMONG BRAHMA, VISHNU AND SHIVA:Among Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, the arrival of the retarding component in relation to the facilitating component is different. In Brahma the retarding component arrives early, in Vishnu in the middle and in Shiva at a still later stage. This makes Brahma more suitable for thinking than Shiva. Shiva is more suitable for action and thus is considered as the most powerful of the three.Vishnu is equally good for thinking and action. However, it is not as good as Brahma for thinking and not as powerful as Shiva for actions.
The three Gods that compose Brahman are, Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara (Shiva)
Trimurti is the actual name, They are Brhama Vishnu and Shiva Brhama - Creator Vishnu - Preserver Shiva - Destroyer
Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu
In Hinduism Shiva is known as the destroyer. However, Shiva doesn't destroy any one except Manmatha, whom he reduces to ashes.THE JOB OF SHIVA:To understand the role of Shiva in Hinduism, we must know about his relationship with Brahma and Vishnu. The three are together known as Trimurti.Brahma is the manual force, Vishnu is the semi automatic force and Shiva is the automatic force of our life.Shiva is known as the destroyer because he banishes activities from our consciousness.Vishnu produces sea wave like ups and downs in our life. The ups are due to activity and downs are due to thinking. If the downs / trough / thinking part of Vishnu force is removed what we have would be Shiva. Thus, Shiva is more powerful than Vishnu in facilitating actions. This he does by reducing options in our life and thus enabling us to focus more. Thus, Shiva makes our life better but under fewer conditions. Thus, Shiva is the god of determination and discipline.
The three main gods in Hinduism are,1. Vishnu and his incarnations2. Shiva and his sons Ganesha and Subramani3. Shakti in its various forms.
