A business has many different levels including upper, middle and lower management and then of course staff. Depending on the style of the organisation, this can vary.
Some organisations such as the one I work for, look at it on a equality basis. It's where all levels of management are treated the same way and are given the same opportunities.
The other most common type of organisation is one similar to pyramid. No not a scheme just a chain of different levels.
Customers are at the bottom despite their importance. Staff are second, then each department from their level of importance to the business is listed. The highest levels are the Managers of Departments, Chief Executive officers, board of directors and a board which governs the business for instance catholic schools in Australia are monitored and controlled by the Catholic Education Office.
